No, I mixed everything myself. If I mix the wax by itself; i.e. turp, carnauba, beeswax, it is lovely, and remains a paste. I just cant, cant, cant manage to get the pigment in. When I mixed it in and applied it onto the wall, it caked. I wonder if it is that I applied it over the soap sealer - which I thought I had to do bc plaster is so thirsty. If I apply turp over the plaster without a sealer, the turp begins to eat away at the pigmented plaster underneath. I just cant believe that what I am trying to do is impossible. I am just trying to make up a pigmented wax myself and apply it over my vp. Why on earth is this so hard??!! Help!
