#1, RE: estimating materials using square feet Posted by admin on 20-Jul-09 at 12:18 PM In response to message #0 in this DVD - Buon Fresco Foundations - Fresco Plaster http://www.truefresco.com/frescoshop/product_info.php?products_id=45 is a chart detailing how thick the wall should be in relation to the fresco you plan to paint on it. as of how much lime putty you will need per sq. feet of 1" thick (about 5 coats - 3 layers) fresco wall you can see here: http://www.truefresco.com/frescoshop/product_info.php?cPath=2&products_id=30 generally it is about 20-24sq feet per 20kg (5gallon) lime putty.
