"Discover FrescoŽ" Workshop for Children Goes Chicago!

On July 17th, artist Tansey Moyer has successfully conducted first "Lets Fresco" class in a planned series of fresco workshops for children at the Columbus Maryville facility at Montrose and Clarendon - an emergency housing center for the Department of Child and Family Services in Cook County. Tansey is using support, know-how and materials provided by TrueFresco.com through our "Discover Fresco Outreach Program"

Tansey Moyer a prominent Chicago artist contacted Ilia Anossov - fresco artist and TrueFresco.com & "Discover Fresco" program's founder, following the recommendation from Kathy Carroll of FauxChannel.com

"I was looking for the most exciting project that I can bring to these children something that they will never forget and may never have a chance to experience in the situation that they are in. I could never imagine that I could bring them Fresco!" - said Tansey in the phone conversation with iLia Anossov

"Tansey was thrilled when I mentioned that painted tiles can be easily assembled on the wall in a quilt-like mural that could grow if you continue conducting the workshop and new students add their frescoes to the mural." - reflects iLia Anossov.

"Discover FrescoŽ Outreach Program" is designed provide underprivileged children with a unique opportunity to learn about and paint their own, real buon fresco. Through "Discover FrescoŽ Outreach Program" TrueFresco.com sponsors an artist (providing free materials, know-how, support and promotion) to conduct workshops for children shelters, public schools in low income areas, children church charities, etc. To qualify for sponsorship under "Discover FrescoŽ Outreach Program" the applying organization must be a Government Social Services related Organization and/or have a non-profit status.
