Hi, all!
some works are really something. i just noticed one thing, though, if i may be so bold as to share my thoughts... i noticed most of the poems are really too concrete and visually graphic. i would think that's quite ok but even with the new trends in poetry (with post-modernism, deconstructionism and all the -isms) its always good to leave some to the reader's imagination. what i am saying is that let's not depend too much on what is seen but rather on ideas and abstracted thoughts. if we talk about concrete subject, say "coffee cups" and "leaves falling" or "wine glass," even non-poets can see and know its there. but what if we try talking metaphors... instead of saying coffee cups, why not "elixir of life onto cold hands of clay?" or when you say wine glass, why not bacchus' hands? or something like that. i'm sure you can come up with even better metaphors than those i've tried to come up with, hehehe... anyway, what i'm saying is let's work on the imagery. its even twice as fullfilling for the poet because as you express yourself, you're also intellectually stimulated to "funnel" these common words into something more. that's what poets are for, according to heidegger in his book "language, poetry, thought" for the poet to deliver something non-poets cannot say... i hope i have shared something with you.
on the last note, though, NEVER STOP WRITING!
