#0, Price and Cost of a Fresco

I'd like someone to give me an idea of how much a Fresco prices for these days. Also, how does this compare to the material cost to the Artist say, for a 10' x 20' wall job. How much more will a ceiling Fresco price for?

Like everything else (mural, trompe, etc.) it all depends on many factors - design, composition, details, etc. And, of cause, the artist's fee that vary and can not be "standartised".

There is a "plaster factor" that should be taken in concederation: Properly prepared fresco wall shall start from $50-70+ per sq. foot - anything under is an illusion.

so $50-70+ per sq. foot for plaster, plus the cost of painting (artist's and design fee)

So combined cost can go well beyond $500 per foot, but
with the cost of about $20 million per foot for Irices by Vincent VG - it is a pocket change...

Thanks a lot for the breakdown.
More homes should have glorious Frescos, I believe.

Thanks once again.
