Here is the quote from the article at MuralGalleries anout the purpose of our Fresco Workshop.


"...Artists also need and receive education through TrueFresco.com. Each commission of a Buon Fresco art work involves many artisans. The difficulty of finding qualified artisans to complete fresco commissions results in the abandonment of the project or in choosing of an alternative. Recognizing the scarcity of artists trained in the fresco techniques, Ilia founded a "Nationwide Fresco Workshop Program" to teach artists across America the skills and later call on the students to join the local commissions. Currently the program operates at nine locations and workshops are being scheduled in seven states.

With the advent of many new materials and mediums, fresco continues to offer lasting joy and amazement to its patrons, while challenging artists to consider their roots - the art form of our earliest ancestors - Fresco.
