"Big new Fresco movie"

I know Catherine Rudd has said she has done movie work, and I know Ilia would like to (??), has anyone heard of a new big budget movie called "Lucrezia"? It will be based on the life and times of Lucrezia Borgia, in renaissance Italy 14-1500's. I hope to put in my own portfolio, but at this point my strength and experience is architectual moldings and ornament - especially as it applies to the movie sets.

Maybe we can form a united front if we find out the designer/producer name? Maybe get a cool name like "The Renaissance Pack" (you know - like the "rat pack" - Sinatra, Sammy Davis, etc. or the "brat pack" of 90's youg actors).

Sounds like a great idea! I hope that Cafe al Fresco will serve as a meeting place and an "idea melting pot" for this group.
lets start with each of us introducing ourselves and our art in the Gallery at Cafe al Fresco".

About the movie - I am in! Afterwards I live in LA. Some of my collectors are known producers and artist's agents, sometimes I get to do a design related decorative projects for things like Academy Awards and Emmys. With the right info I might be able to find out a little more than the name of the director.

Ilia.

Lets talk more about the "United Front". I think the idea of having a "Renaissance Pack" is a splendid one. If we can pull it together. The whole fresco list should be here talking about it. After all this forum is here just for that. Did they quit or what? I think we should persuade the members of the list to come here for the "conference" about your idea about the movie and the fresco in general. If we had a group we will be able to approach arts organizations, museums, etc. The best way to do it is in the forum - it is a publication without the expense of the publication and available 24/7 from anywhere in the world!
I think we should start a separate topic in the Cafe - "The Fresco Pack" or "The Renaissance Pack" or "The Fresco Renaissance Pack" or "Modern Fresco Pack" (I think it should have the word fresco in the name). And start it with the manifest written by you. And all members of the pack will put their statements, then we can vote on the program and details.
We just need members, I am sure Carter will join in, will You Carter? That makes three of us already. I think Mark Stone will be interested. So what do You think?

Ilia
