You should post you links in as many places as you could. Search engines are the complicated thing to get good positions and those bogus offers that come to your mailbox do not worth looking into. Also it takes over a year to get listed with some of them. Submit to search engines your self there are many free programs available. I would concentrate on posting your links like you did here - on real websites related to what you do. It would work wonders if you will find places were you can post articles about your technique, history behind the woodcurving, advice for the bginners, etc. People would love to visit the authors site and concequently purchase.

also you can join "Top Site Lists", like the ones at the bottom of this page, if managed properly they give you good exposure.

bye for now and good luck!

There are quite a few things that you can do to get exposure for your website.

here are a few things you can try:

1. submit your site to serach engines. http:www.googleurl.com allows you to submit to google.

2. Submit your site to directories.
You will often need to 'trade' a link to their directory in order to get a placement so be picky.

3.Posting on forums like these commenting on other work and letting other know about you and your site will encourage them to click through.

4. get yourself a blod and write articles on art and art based topics. These get picked up by the search egines and they trace any links back to your website.

good luck. It can seem like hard work sometimes but keep plodding away and you will see the results!
