"What to look for before buying an Embroidery Machine ??"

   Hi Everyone,
My name is Olivia and I love to digitize and create things with my embroidery machine. I also love doing nails and teaching Double Dutch Skipping . I decided to speak a bout a big problem that face anyone intends to buy an embroidery machine.

My dad used to say "Never ask a life insurance salesman if you need more life insurance"

I mention dad's advice because our first visit to an embroidery machine dealer was an expensive mistake!
If you are earnestly considering buying an embroidery machine either designed for individual or business objectives the foremost thing you ought|require} to do is to acquaint yourself with all the choices offered in the market. Do not limit yourself to only one make irrespective of what some people may advise you so examine as many products as possible before making a decision. Look for a product that has a long history of excellence as this is the variety that will most likely offer the best embroidery machine properties.

Going over the assorted types before making a final decision can be very demoralizing. This is because you will find yourself torn between choosing the most within your means appliance and one with the best properties which in most circumstances will be costly. A good number of buyers are more worried about the price than in other features of the embroidery machines. They do this in fear of spending a lot of money on items that in the end may not provide real value for their money’s worth. Keep in mind that at times you will need to sacrifice your money if you are really after quality equipment for your impending projects.

You will have a much easier time when choosing an embroidery machine if you know just what your embroidery requirements are. A person who is buying a machine exclusively for use in his/her hobbies will not need the same type of machine as a person buying for commercial reasons. Equipment for simple embroidery tasks will without doubt not be as costly as that essential for doing large and heavy duty jobs. The simple knowledge of what your needs can really save you a lot of money.

Secondly list down all the essential properties that you think should be integrated in the machine that you need to obtain. Do you want a machine that can also be used for sewing and or quilting? Or do you want one with free-arm capabilities? What kind of fabrics will you be embroidering and how heavy or thick are they?

For those who are completely new to embroidery then it will pay to listen to what other more experienced individuals have to say. Go over the different product reviews that can freely be found in different embroidery websites. These can either be found in the manufacturer websites or those by embroidery experts. Keep an open mind when researching and be on the lookout for machines that have been receiving a lot of excelent reviews by diverse people. Also, familiarize yourself with the fine points of appropriately using an embroidery machine by taking a small course to help you get the feel of how assorted models operate. You can give your instructor your requirements list so that he/she can advice you on the kind of machine that will cater for your requirements.

Purchasing an embroidery machine is not a small investment so take all the time you can manage and settle for a sensible choice. For those who require a commercial embroidery machine pay close attention to the reputation and reliability of the variety that you want to purchase. Make sure that what you go for will not only function according to your requirements but will also be resilient and able to serve you for many years to come. The equipment does not necessarily have to be the latest model or the most high-tech designed machine. As long as your task requirements are met then this machine will without doubt be just the thing for you. Regrettably some machines come with extra concealed expenses that are only revealed when one has already made a purchase. In such circumstances you will need to demand for a complete explanation of all fees associated to the machine. Consequently, before buying you should to make relentless enquiries as to what is or isn’t included in the quoted price of the machine.

By the way high quality machines tend to be heavier in terms of weight but at the same time provide a smooth and quiet operation. Its parts like levers, buttons and hinges should be made from hard and unbreakable material. The machine should provide for easy fabric movement while sewing. This is especially imperative if you need a machine that will act as both an embroidery and sewing machine.

Superior brands always come with a warranty and you will need to ask for it when buying. A warranty will help a lot if you discover that what you have bought may not be in good working condition and may thus need to be replaced or repaired. If possible ask the store owners to test the machine for you.

These are some of the essential factors that will help you find the flawless machine for your embroidery needs. If you don’t mind spending time by following these simple instructions then you will undeniably end up with an embroidery machine selection that will always keep you happy.

1. "Before buying an Embroidery Machine"

We Need to check the following thing before buying an embroidery :
1. Mirror-image capability - enables symmetry and balance in the pattern-creating process
2. Cutaway Backing - enables cutting the excess with a pair of scissors
3. Tearaway Backing - enables the excess to be torn away after fabric is embroidered
4. Automatic needle threaders
5. Bobbin: The spool that holds the thread. The stitches on the underside of the garment are formed by the bobbin thread

Also it must be from branded company.
