Jere'" Posted by madamemim74 on 18-Jul-11 at 08:44 PM I was going through some things in a corner of my basement the other day, and came across an old signed C Jere metal wall sculpture that I purchased at a yard sale, around 98' or so. I almost hung it back above the storage pile when I remembered that this particular sculpture depicts a New York City scape with the World Trade Center Towers intact! It even still has the Artisan House Inc, Certificate of Authenticity tag on the back. I tried to look around to see if anybody else has one, and cant seem to find a single one anywhere. So I wonder if this piece, named 'Metropolis II', style #210178, in silver and black finish, has gained in value. Obviously, the sentimental value is huge, but I know very little else about its worth. Not to say I am considering to sell it, since its just too cool, a piece of American History now. I mostly think it would be fun to hear if anybody has any thoughts about this one. I brought it up out of the basement and took a picture, although I seem to be getting a system error message, " script error" when I try and upload it.(any hints)? I'd like for everyone to see the pict though. All my thanks..
