"Where to find good African paintings?"

Recently, I was reading an article dedicated to African art and I was amazed to find out about so many varieties of African art forms. Initially I used to believe that African tribal art was just limited to masks. But after seeing the photographs of the original oil paintings, jewellery items and pottery items I was simply spell bound. Being an art lover, I am planning to buy some original paintings to add to my collection. Can you guys suggest where I can purchase some good African paintings?

African paintings bring so much style and color to the home. African art forms are diverse and range from the realism of the photographic through to the abstract. http://africanpaintingsgallery.com/African%20Dance%2011 is an example of a very fine African oil painting. African artists are still less well known outside Africa and their works continue to inspire and create great conversation.
