How much does it cost to sign up?
The TrueFresco.com FrescoShop affiliate program is completely free. There are no sign up or hidden charges. You get paid for sales that are generated from our banners placed on your website.

How does it work?
Simply place one of our premade/generated banners on your site. Once a user on your site clicks our banner, it will bring them to BirdDogBowling. Once at our site, if they should purchase something, your referral link will automatically create the commission you will recieve in your user account.

How and When do I get paid?
TrueFresco.com FrescoShop will pay you once a month for your commission. Please note that there will be a 30 day waiting period after each sale, in order to ensure the customer has not been refunded for their purchase. Currently we will be sending automatic payments via PayPal. We can also pay by check or money order, credit card or bank transfer (subject for aproval by FrescoShop).
You get paid monthly, 30 days after the end of the month, once your commission balance reaches the minimum amount. For affiliates who are being paid automaticaly via PayPal, the minimum is $25.00. (For example, if you earned $30.00 in commission for sales in January, you would be issued a check for this amount on March 15th.) Affiliates who request an alternative payment (subject for approval by FrescoShop method must accumulate a minimum of $100.00 in commission before we can issue a payment. If you have not met the minimum amount, we will carry your commission balance forward to the next month.

Do you need my TAX ID, is it required?
TAX ID (SSN for individuals) is not a requirement, however if you are a US resident we must have your TAX ID to issue a payment if your combined affiliate commission for a single calendar year exceeds $500 USD

How do I find the pre-made banners?
We have a number of banners to choose from. Banners will be updated monthly in order to assure the most current price and products available. Simply click on Product Links text as found in your affiliate user panel. Then simply copy and paste the text of the banner you wish to use and paste it into your website where you want it displayed. The referral link is already created with your affiliate ID number, therefore allowing it to be tracked in your profile, as well as our site.

I do not want to use a banner, what can I do?
TrueFresco.com FrescoShop also offers Text Links to be displayed within your site. The text version code can be found directly below the Banner Code. Simply copy the text code and paste it into your site.

Can I make my own link?
Yes, if you would like to make a link/banner for a product that we do not have a banner for, you may create your own. To do this, simply click on the "Build A Link" link found in your affiliate control panel. Once you have been directed to the Build A Link page, simply follow the directions listed. The new link will automatically be created and ready to use on your site.

What is the commission rate?
Currently, the commision rate is set at a default of 10%. Most of our fresco products are unique many are not available elsewhere in USA and/or seldom fond, as well as new products specifically design following our Fresco Workshop (FrescoSchool.com) and recearch and adoptation of Historic Renaissance Fresco Materials do not have analogs anywhere in the Contemporary World. Therefore our conversion (clicks-to-sales) is one of the the highest with the average of $200-$300 per sale ($20-$30 commission per sale average). The Fresco Reproductions Gallery is being added to the Fresco Shop where Fresco Lithographs and Posters will be sold. In addition, if your site has brought us a large amount of traffic-purchases, we may re-evaluate your commission percentage to increase it.

I operate multiple websites. Should I sign up each one separately?
No, you do not have to. You can use the same account and links for all websites that you have. If you want to track each website’s sales and clicks separately, you can sign up for another account. However your commission payments will be also calculated and sent separately when each site reaches its payment treshold (a minimum of $25 for PayPal payment and $100 for other commission payment methods).

How can I check that my links are working properly?
You should always test your links after you place them on your site. It may seem like a very basic suggestion, but you would be surprised at how many people upload linking code that is accidentally corrupted.
To ensure that your affiliate links to TrueFresco.com FrescoShop are working properly, go ahead and click through some of your links. Make sure that the links go to the intended destinations and the URL. After you click through the link, the URL on the TrueFresco.com FrescoShop site should look like this:

note:XXX is your affiliate id.
To double check, give the system one day for the clicks to register to your account and then log into the affiliate section and then click on "Clickthrough Report". If your links are working properly, you will see the clicks recorded in the report. If you are still unsure whether your links are functional, contact us and we will take a look.

How do I know if I have made any sales?
We track your sales in real time. You will always have access to updated statistics on your traffic and sales. We track sales coming from your website using the unique “Affiliate ID” in your links. Based on the “Affiliate ID” number in the link, we can identify each visitor that comes from your website and credit your sales and traffic accordingly.

If someone clicks on a particular item link and then purchases a different item(s), does the commission still apply?
Yes! You get paid the same commission rate on all of your sales regardless of how you link to us or what the customer buys. You earn commission on all sales not including amounts we collect for shipping & handling and tax.
