goal is to create the Contemporary Fresco Painting Resource Center
- To preserve our Cultural Heritage, facilitate the Revival of the
Art of Fresco in present time and prevent the possibility of a
decline in the Future. Our WebSite is a meeting
place for everyone fascinated with Fresco painting, its history and
heritage. An
educational tool and the source of information that would deliver the
most accurate and up to date material for everyone interested in
this form of Art. The source of inspiration for Artists and helping
hand in making their work noticed by the public. Virtual and Real-Life
gallery of contemporary Frescoes and comprehensive record of the development
of the Modern Fresco as an independent form of Art. We strive to keep
this center and it's services available and at no cost to the public.
Our
objectives are
To
locate as many contemporary artists working in fresco or studying
this Form of Art and provide representation for this
artists on Modern Fresco Gallery pages and/or Personal
WebSites. As well as an opportunity to study fresco painting at our
studio and other locations.
To
establish contacts with fresco patrons and give them an opportunity
to communicate with each other and share their passion with
others.
To
provide help, choices and reference material for the people interested
to start a
fresco collection and/or to become a fresco patron. To assist with selecting an artist for their
collection and patronage.
To
provide a valuable educational tool and professional expertise for
fresco patrons, museums, schools, galleries, architects, designers,
educators and general public.
To
establish working relationships with Art Institutions, Museums,
Schools, Universities and Colleges, Galleries and Media. Organize
and produce educational and promotional fresco exhibitions, workshops, lectures.
To
establish permanent real-life space for Modern Fresco Gallery.
Our
strategy is to complete this site
with interesting and original content, include popular tools and features
for specialists and general public. Continue razing the public
awareness needed to preserve the existing Treasures of the Modern
Fresco through our "History
of Modern Fresco 1900 - 2000" online exhibition/project. Assist
in fresco research and provide an interactive on-line community
meeting place Cafe
al Fresco - Art Forums to subscribers. Deliver fresco news and related
information through the Modern Fresco Gazette.
Increase
traffic to the site through our affiliate program, ways of traditional
Media and marketing and association with Art and Educational institutions.
Establish fresco intern programs and
employment opportunities with the funds provided by patrons/sponsors,
proceeds from the commissions originated on
this site, online gift store and portion from the sales of our (now in post
production, introductory video is available)
