Hi
Im new here and would like to answer the stucco lustro message, just 6 months too late! Im working and teaching stucco lustro, and perhaps we up here (Sweden) use a different composition??? The smalto (lime + marseillesoap melted in water) mixed with pigments, used on semidry marmorino (marbledust+lime 50-50). Then heated with iron. No oils. Beeswax may be used some weeks after painting/heating/glossying(is this a true word- glossying????).

Im confused over the different terminiologies and would like to know more about SL historically-archaeologically.HELP!
Stunning site by the way!!!
Emma
