#0, pre-enrollement benefits
Posted by Trompe Decorative Finishes on 23-Oct-00 at 04:42 AM
Hi everyone,

For those of you who are interested in taking the oportunity to enroll in one of the fantastic Fresco workshops, I am here to help explain the benefits of pre-enrollement.My name is Carter Averbeck, one of the organizers of the True Fresco workshops, and if you still have questions after reading everything below, please feel free to post a question on this forum thread. I will answer your questions as fast as possible.Otherwise you can go to the sign up link and enroll in one of the upcoming fresco workshops.
Thanks.

First of all, by enrolling now, you can avoid the aspect of not being able to get into a specific workshop. There is much enthusiasm, and great response with these workshops, so the classes tend to fill up rather quickly. Those that pre-enroll at the beginning get in first. Yes,...it is a first come first serve basis, and we only have a limited amount of space for students in these workshops on Fresco painting. Usually between 18-20 students at a time.

Secondly, those that pre-enroll now, get a year 2000 discount on the workshop tuition costs. The tuition is normally $1000.00 per student, but at this time, there is a 25% discount on the tuition making the total cost of the workshop to be only $750.00. If you look around at the cost of many classes in decorative arts, and finishes (including fresco classes) this is a great price for those students who are truly interested in learning about this time honoured technique. Remember, as we turn to the year 2001, this discount will no longer apply, so enrolling now, assures you of a 25% discount off the regular tuition rate, even if the next workshop you can attened starts at the beginning of next year.

Third, there is no money to send now as a deposit. All you need to do is go to the link on enrolling for the workshop classes. We will keep your information confidential, and by letting us know what areas of the country you can attend the workshop in, we will send you via e-mail, where and when a new workshop will be starting. This is the time when you can send a deposit to assure your enrollment into the class size.

Remember,...many students have already pre-enrolled for these workshops. When the dates are set for the workshops, these are the students who get first choice. Some pre-enrolled students may not be able to make a certain workshop, so we go down the line of pre-enrolled students who are willing to get in to a certain workshop to fill the class. So by pre-enrolling now, you will have a better chance of getting in the class, rather than enrolling at the time of the workshop.

Good luck, and I hope to see you at one of the workshops soon! They are fun, informative, and intensive study into the art of fresco. You will definitely come away with a valuable experience that we hope you can use to your best benefit.
