#0, Frescoe Class in ITaly?

hi,I am new to this site, and find it amazing! I am a decorative artist, traveling to Europe for a month or so in May. Does anyone know of classes, workshops, in ITALY, or have any ideas where to search? I did the basic internet search, and did not come up with much. I know vigini.com has a workshop, but I am not prepared to spend $4000 on 9 days. I am interested in learning where Leonetto Tintori 's school in Prato is still open?
Does anyone know the name of the school? I am interested in Frescoe and Venetian Plaster classes. Thank you for any help!! Theresa

I taught fresco for a number of years in Italy. The school no longer exists. but if you want to study with my colleague Jack Portland at his school please contact him (ALSO MENTION I REFERRRED YOU). Sorry you missed the recent fresco class (May14 -21) given by Annie Taillemite in the Lake Trasimeno region of Tuscany/Umbria. The next class will be held in October 2006 at the same location, Casa San Martino, Lisciano Niccone (1 and 1/2 hours south of Florence). Dear Theresa,I do know of an Italian restorer who went to this school for three years. The founder is now deceased and the son is on charge. I do have a contact number, but not on me right now. Also do a google search on Luigi Falai. He has a workshop that is fantastic that runs from September until May. I have worked with him closely and also have people who know a lot about the school in Prato. I have some numbers of Americans who have gone to this school and they can tell you more about it.
