Vonny,
Why not try to find a female artist, during the 16th century. Whose work was persumed to be done by a male artist. So, because of her own persistent desires, to be ackledged for her own work, as a women artist. She manage to break through the sterotype. Remember during those times,women presumed not to paint, only under a male artist. Plus, their place in society was under men. Then maybe compare and contrast two pieces, 1female and 1male piece, during that time. Hope this helps!
